Beverly has taught piano for over 30 years and continues to enjoy the challenge of helping each individual student learn to enjoy making music. In addition to teaching at Wyoming Music, she is the staff acompanist for the Musical Theatre Department at Casper College where she has accompanied numerous students and musicals including the recent productions of “Footloose” and “A Little Night Music.” She has performed as a guest soloist with the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra and the Powder River Symphony as well as joining with the symphony performances with “Kansas,” “The Moody Blues” and “Chicago.” She accompanied Jean Tichenor in her vocal studio and played in the band for the opera group “I Cantori.” She studied with Dr. Eric Unruh and Mrs. Pauline Hitt as well as Donna McIntire on organ. She periodically performs as the featured soloist for the Bach’s Lunch Organ Recitals at the FUMC in Casper. She studied piano pedagogy and attended classes and seminars at the WMTA state conventions. She accomapnied the KWHS choirs under the direction of Marcia Patton in addition to accompanying many of the musicals at KW and NCHS since 1984. She also accompanied the Casper Choral Arts Ensemble with Dr. Patton. She published “Simply Primary Songs,” arrangements of children’s hymns. She has her degree in piano performance from Casper College. She and her husband Dean have 3 children and 13 grandchilldren, 11 of whom are girls!
